World Table Tennis Day 2025 Video Editing Competition is Open for Entries!

Celebrated with more events and in more places than last year, World Table Tennis Day 2025 brought together 845 vibrant celebrations in 146 countries and territories. To capture the energy and spirit of these global events, we’re once again calling on creative video editors to participate in the World Table Tennis Day 2025 Video Editing Competition. This is your chance to be rewarded, recognised, and have your work showcased on a global stage. Use your editing talent and visual storytelling skills to create a dynamic highlight video from the diverse footage shared by table tennis enthusiasts from around the world!

How to apply for the competition:

1. Prepare your video editing portfolio:

If you have a video editing portfolio or previous works that demonstrate your talent,  prepare a link to include in your application. It could be one video edit or multiple, you decide what showcases your work the best!

2. Complete the application form:

Access the application form for the competition (click here). Fill in all required fields accurately, including your basic information and any additional details requested.

3. Submit by the deadline:

All applications must be completed by Sunday, 6 July 2025, 11:59 pm (GMT +02:00).

Competition process and prizes:

1. First Stage:

• After receiving applications submitted, the ITTF Foundation team will select FIVE outstanding video editors.
• Each selected applicant will be given a common brief and 3 weeks to craft a 2-3 minute video integrating their creative ideas.
• Upon completion of the first edit, the selected applicants will be awarded 200 EUR each.

2. Second Stage:

• From the top five selections, ONE outstanding video will be chosen for further editing based on the ITTF Foundation team’s feedback.
• Upon finalisation of the video, the creator of the chosen video will receive an additional prize of 300 EUR.
• In addition to the cash award for your efforts, the ITTF Foundation will give you credit when it publishes the video for the first time on its Social Media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)!

Important Notes:

• The submissions made in this application must be original works created or edited by the applicants.
• Only one entry per participant is allowed.
• Applicants must agree to the terms and conditions outlined for the competition.
