The 2024 World Table Tennis for Health Festival Opens Today!
The much-anticipated 2024 World Table Tennis for Health Festival officially opens today in Maizières-lès-Metz, France! Running from October 23 to 27, this year’s festival welcomes 156 players from 25 countries and territories, setting a new record in scale for this second edition of the event.
A Celebration of Health, Well-being, and Table Tennis
The World Table Tennis for Health Festival, featuring events including the World Parkinson’s Table Tennis Championships (4th edition), the World Alzheimer’s Table Tennis Championships (2nd edition), and the World Table Tennis for Health Congress (2nd edition), celebrates the positive impact of table tennis on health and well-being. Powered by Ultimate Table Tennis, the Festival is organized by the Maizières-lès-Metz Table Tennis Club, the Moselle Departmental Committee, and the Grand Est Table Tennis League, with the support of the French Table Tennis Federation (FFTT). This year’s event has attracted a record number of 156 participants from 25 countries and territories, highlighting the growing recognition of table tennis as a sport that can transform lives, improve health, and foster camaraderie.
