World Table Tennis Day 2026 is just around the corner. Every 23 April, table tennis brings people together across continents, cultures, and communities to celebrate the inclusive power and joy of sport. At the heart of this global movement are the World Table Tennis Day (WTTD) Promoters — local changemakers who turn this vision into reality. Today, we are launching a fundraising campaign to invite you to support more of these inspiring individuals and amplify the power of table tennis worldwide!

Local Changemakers Driving Global Impact

This year, the ITTF Foundation has proudly supported 36 Promoters from 24 countries and territories. Each of them brings passion, creativity, and a strong commitment to positive local impact and Health & Well-Being. They have been dedicatedly preparing to use table tennis to unite people and promote physical, mental, and social wellness for people of all ages and backgrounds within their communities on 23 April.

Expanding the Reach Together

While the Foundation supports this core group of Promoters, the ambition goes further.

We want YOU to be part of it! Through this campaign, we aim to expand the reach of World Table Tennis Day by empowering additional Promoters in communities that would otherwise not be part of the celebration.

Each Promoter organises their event from the ground up, securing venues, gathering participants, and introducing table tennis to people who may have never picked up a racket before.

€700 = 1 Promoter = 1 Community Activated

Every €700 raised enables one additional Promoter to bring their initiative to life, covering essential costs such as equipment, venue hire, logistics, and outreach.

Our goal is simple: fund 10 additional Promoters and reach 10 new communities by 23 April 2026.

No matter the size, every contribution makes a difference. €25 can provide essential equipment. €100 can fund a local coaching session focused on health and well-being. €300 can support the organisation of a full community event. Each contribution helps build a lasting impact that goes beyond a single day.
