ITTF Foundation Supports New Global Campaign to Reshape Sport and Development in Response to Covid-19

ITTF Foundation joined the International Platform on Sport and Development  (sportanddev) in a campaign that aims to reshape sport to better serve the humankind and demonstrate the contribution of sport and physical activity at this critical time.

With our mission in achieving solidarity through table tennis, the ITTF Foundation believes in the power of sports in contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based on which, our programmes and projects promote equity, access, and inclusion in society, as well as quick response to Covid-19. We have made great progress so far, but we seek to amplify our reach with collaborations and partnerships.

Sportanddev is a key connector that creates synergies between the sport and development actors. The ITTF Foundation is happy to support sportanddev in their mission to connect all driving forces in sport for development to generate a greater impact globally. – Leandro Olvech, ITTF Foundation Director.

In addition to the ITTF Foundation, various leading organisations have joined as the Steering Board members to to create a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable sport and development sector.
