Dream Building Fund Generation 2026: Applications Now Open!

In the spirit of Nelson Mandela International Day, the ITTF Foundation is proud to open applications for the fifth edition of the Dream Building Fund (DBF). We’re excited to call for the Generation 2026—a new wave of changemakers ready to drive social impact through the power of table tennis! Launched today in honour of Mandela’s legacy of building a better world through sport, we invite organisations passionate about using table tennis for positive change and community development to apply and be part of a movement that transforms lives.

A Fund for Changemakers

The Dream Building Fund is a community-driven initiative by the ITTF Foundation that empowers local organisations to create meaningful change through table tennis. Over four cycles and 22 projects worldwide, the Fund has supported impactful initiatives that use the sport to address key social challenges. From promoting education, gender equality, and social inclusion to advancing health and peace, these initiatives have contributed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) through the power of table tennis.

More than just a grant, the DBF offers a chance to be part of a global movement and a journey that inspires and nurtures changemakers within communities!

Why Apply?

Through the application, the ITTF Foundation will select 6 outstanding organisations to join DBF Generation 2026. The selected organisations will receive:

  • Funding support to launch or realise your initiative (up to USD 25,000).
  • Guidance and mentorship from the ITTF Foundation to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Visibility and promotion across ITTF Foundation platforms.
  • Access to global networks, equipment, training, storytelling tools, and more.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from officially registered non-profits, table tennis clubs, and social enterprises that use table tennis for development and address local or regional challenges.

Please note: The ITTF Foundation cannot fund individuals directly; the support must go through a supporting or legally established organisation which is able to receive the grant.
