Dream Building Fund Call Opens!

Applications for the Dream Building Fund are now open! Dream Building is one of the 6 programs by the ITTF Foundation that provides grants for Table Tennis for development and peace initiatives to support local projects around the world. The 2020 cycle opens today and closes on 10th November 2019.

Since it's inception last year, the Dream Building Fund has supported 6 projects across 4 continents in Ecuador, France, Kenya, Netherlands, North America and Uganda.

 

Eligible Projects

Projects must aim to achieve a targeted UN SDG using table tennis as a vehicle and have a clearly defined theory of change. Applicants should be registered non-profit sport, social or table tennis organizations, with the project leader acting as the point of contact who is also responsible for reporting.

Monitoring & Evaluation requirements are in place to ensure smooth implementation, regular follow-up of each project and to optimise the support provided by the ITTF Foundation.  

Each project will last from 2 to 3 years and have a clear exit strategy defined at the end of its first year.  

Dream Building History

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has a long history of supporting and implementing humanitarian, peace, reconciliation and community projects for nearly 20 years. The ITTF Foundation, through the Dream Building program, is now dedicated to the theme of 'Solidarity through Table Tennis'.

The 2019 cycle saw 74 applications submitted, with projects requesting support for SDGs Good health and wellbeing, Quality education, No poverty, Reduced inequality and Gender equality as the most prominent.
