Call for Hosts: Express Your Interest to Host the World Table Tennis for Health Festival 2028 or 2029
The ITTF Foundation is pleased to officially launch the Expression of Interest (EOI) process for organisations wishing to host the World Table Tennis for Health Festival in 2028 or 2029. This global event celebrates the power of table tennis to promote health, inclusion, and social connection. We are now inviting potential hosts from around the world to take the first step in bringing this inspiring festival to their country.
About the World Table Tennis for Health Festival
The World Table Tennis for Health Festival (WTT4HF), initiated by the ITTF Foundation and launched in 2023, is a global platform that brings together people living with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, alongside coaches, caregivers, health professionals, and communities committed to promoting health and combating neurodegenerative diseases through table tennis.
The Festival features events including:
- World Parkinson’s Table Tennis Championships
- World Alzheimer’s Table Tennis Championships
- World Table Tennis for Health Congress
Together, these events create a powerful space for not only competition but also knowledge-sharing and human connection, highlighting how sport can improve the quality of life for people living with neurodegenerative conditions. For the 2028 and 2029 editions, we anticipate reaching a new level of participation, with around 300 players joining the event.
Hosting the World Table Tennis for Health Festival is more than organising an event. It is an opportunity to position your community at the forefront of a global movement that uses table tennis as a tool for health, inclusion, and hope.
Who Can Express Interest?
We welcome expressions of interest from a wide range of entities. If you are:
- A table tennis club or association
- A Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s organisation
- A city or municipality
- A government entity
- Any legally registered organisation with the capacity to host an international event
You are encouraged to apply and submit your expression of interest.
How to Express Interest?
Interested organisations are required to:
- Pay the EOI fee of €250
- Complete the official EOI form
- Submit the form before the deadline
