12 days to go to the World Table Tennis Day 2024 and the anticipation has been rising for the celebration event in Leipzig, Germany! The ITTF Foundation is excited to unveil all our partners who are integral to making this epicenter celebration a success. 1. International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF):
As the governing body for the world of table tennis, the ITTF plays a pivotal role in advancing the sport globally. With a commitment to promoting the theme of ‘Diversity and Inclusion; in 2024 and 2025, the ITTF's involvement ensures the success and world reach of the World Table Tennis Day celebration in Leipzig.
2. Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH:
GIZ’s main commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It contributes to fostering social and economic development while bringing its expertise in international cooperation and sustainable development. GIZ is our global partner of this year’s World Table Tennis Day, offering financial, technical, and capacity-building support. Our collaboration also extends to knowledge sharing through the Diversity and Inclusion Handbook, using table tennis as a catalyst for acceptance and belonging through and in the sport.
