10 days to the World Masters Championships: close to 4000 EUR has been raised to support our players with Parkinson’s!

With just 10 days remaining until the two players with Parkinson’s, Agnes Jan and Steve Morley, step on the stage of the ITTF World Masters Championships Rome 2024 representing the Foundation team to compete with over 6000 other athletes! Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have raised close to 4000 euros so far, with each player receiving more than 1900 euros. This achievement brings us to 65% of our fundraising goal—a significant milestone made possible by the incredible generosity of our supporters. Now for the final push!

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the individuals and organisations who have stood by this campaign and made tangible contributions to Agnes and Steve's incredible journey. Among these kind supporters are the warm-hearted Member Associations—led by Table Tennis Australia with a significant contribution! The Swedish Table Tennis Association (SBTF) made a donation which honours former president Walter Rönmark's 80th birthday and his dedication to inclusivity in table tennis.

While we have made significant progress, we still need your help to reach our goal. By donating, you support not only a story of resilience and hope but also the broader mission of promoting Diversity and Inclusion in table tennis. We are calling for more support from the table tennis fraternity, the Parkinson’s community and everyone who resonates with Agnes and Steve’s life chapter.

Join hands with us and be a part of this inspiring journey now! Your support can help Agnes and Steve make their mark at the World Masters Championships in Rome and inspire many others.

Apart from the fundraising campaign, we have received strong institutional support, with Swaythling Club International sponsoring a part of Agnes’ and Steve’s expenses, while Double Happiness has generously provided a full set of kits, including jerseys and equipment, for our players.
